Whitesales has announced the creation of a dedicated sales team for fenestration following the reaction to its entering the sector, and has named Piers White (pictured right) and Karl Grandfield (pictured left) as sales managers for the South and North/Midlands respectively.

Piers, who has worked at Whitesales since 2012 in a variety of customer service and sales roles, says that fabricators particularly like the fact that Whitesales holds so many rooflight sizes in stock and offers fast delivery straight to site. Karl, who had 12 years as a carpenter fitting windows and doors before he joined the company in 2015 as a contracts manager, says that customers also really value the fact that Whitesales doesn’t manufacture any other products apart from rooflights, so will never compete with its own customers on windows and doors.

Both have been talking directly to fabricators since Whitesales’ appearance at FIT, and several of them have already added its rooflights and lanterns to their offering.

Karl said: “Piers and I are focused on building great relationships with fabricators, which we know we can back up with quality products which suit this market perfectly, impeccable service and impressive  marketing support.
