Shelforce gained yet more Royal approval for its ‘battle to overcome adversity’ when the King paid tribute to the disability employer at a special Buckingham Palace event.

The company’s business manager Howard Trotter was among guests at the dinner to celebrate winners of the Kings Award for Enterprise which had been awarded to the window and door fabricator in the Promoting Opportunity category https://www.the-glazine.com/?p=9125.

“His majesty knew all about Shelforce and our employment model and absolutely loved the whole idea and principle behind the company, one of battling to overcome adversity,” said Howard after meeting the King.

“I also spoke to the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke of Gloucester about what we do, and what was apparent was everyone I spoke to knew all about Shelforce, which was fantastic.

“It was a wonderful evening and everyone at the Palace, from the King down, made us feel so comfortable and like we were the most important people in the room.”

Shelforce has won numerous awards in the past for its work employing three quarters of its workforce with disabilities.
