Thermoseal Group has achieved the ‘Developed’ level of performance after being successfully assessed by Investors in People, proving that everyone working for the IGU component supplier “is committed to the values of the business and is striving to provide high-quality products and excellent service to the Company’s customers”.
“This is a fantastic result for Thermoseal Group,” said MD and owner Gwain Paterson., “The vision we have within the company to provide the industry’s best components for IGUs can only be realised if everyone within the organisation shares it.
“I am confident that following this excellent Investors in People report, we can continue to successfully grow our business to meet an expected uptick in demand, while growing our burgeoning export business.”
The report was compiled by Gordon Stopani, who interviewed about two-thirds of Thermoseal Group’s employees to measure how well the company empowered its workforce.
“There was very good understanding amongst interviewees about the Company’s plans and goals, all indicating that they were aware of the significant investments being made in new plant and equipment as a part of the Company’s growth plans,” he said. “As a result of this investment, a number of people are learning new skills and ways of working, helping to ensure that the Company remains highly competitive.”
According to the Investors in People report, survey sentiment is very positive and since the last survey in 2020, has improved across all nine of the Indicators of the Standard, showing excellent progress.
