TrustMark, the government-endorsed quality scheme, has announced Digital Building Services (DBS) as its latest Scheme Provider.

DBS provides residential energy efficiency advisory services to mortgage providers, lenders and brokers and has a consumer arm that is designed to support consumers through the retrofit projects.

Simon Ayers, CEO, TrustMark said, “DBS, as a Scheme Provider, offers the opportunity for more businesses to engage in retrofit through Trustmark’s Licence Plus registration. Helping to grow the supply chain in this area provides consumers with more choice and being TrustMark registered provides assurance for both consumers and lenders that businesses work to quality standards and have the appropriate financial protections in place. We look forward to working with DBS.”

DBS CEO Colin Calder added:” Becoming a TrustMark Scheme Provider is a vital part of our journey in providing our Net Zero Retrofit Framework. Our objective is to provide consumers with independent advice and access to information they need to make informed decisions about energy efficiency improvements to their home; and lenders with a trusted framework for providing green retrofit loans that will result in verified carbon emission reductions. This is an exciting time for retrofit and the new opportunities we can help provide for businesses, consumers and lenders.”
