Quickslide’s ‘Engineering future innovations’ stand at this year’s FIT Show included the unveiling of the newest incarnation of its Legacy vertical slider.

“Period detailing such as timber-look mechanical joints, seamless run-through sash horns, an authentic curvy ovolo frame and deep bottom rail make the Legacy VS almost indistinguishable from the traditional timber designs on which it is designed,” said managing director Ben Weber.
“With this new slimline meeting rail and the improved run-through horns it will be even harder to spot the difference between our Legacy VS and an actual timber sash window.”
A representative from Mighton, which has partnered with Quickslide, was also on hand, with information about Avia’s sash fastener that has been launched as part of the Legacy VS range.
Ben said: “This year’s FIT Show was hugely successful and enjoyable. Our big news was the unveiling of our new, enhanced Legacy VS – but the whole show itself is a real legacy in our industry and always a highlight in our calendar.
