Schüco says fabrication of its new AD UP (Aluminium Door Universal Platform) is simplified as the door system is based on a large number of common components, hinges and locks.

The five-chamber symmetrical profile system is available in two profile widths: AD UP 75 (75mm) and AD UP 90 (90mm).

The profile also allows the door fittings and the outer frame attachment to be screwed on centrally and concealed without the need to distinguish between left-handed and right-handed doors. It also incorporates a dedicated cable channel to ensure easy integration of Schüco Smart Home intelligent access control systems.

The AD UP 75 profile is suitable for door heights up to 3000mm, with a maximum leaf width of 1400mm, while the wider AD UP 90 profile can accommodate additional insulation.

In addition, the AD UP 75 achieves class E750 under BS EN 12208, meaning it can withstand wind pressures of up to 750Pa.

The universal platform enables door systems to be created for a wide range of applications with a choice of performance and aesthetic options, allowing even the most exacting requirements to be satisfied.

The system has been designed to integrate with the Schüco range of façade, window and sliding door systems.
