The new BRiTDOR slab from DoorCo is now available in 44mm thickness, with all the same benefits present since the new door was released to the market earlier this year.
Mark Towers DoorCo’s Head of Operations, who has been the driving force behind BRiTDOR, tells us more: “BRiTDOR is our new solid timber core composite door, that was revealed to the market earlier this year in standard 48mm thickness, with the promise of a 44mm option coming soon. We’re excited to confirm that we’ve delivered on that promise and the new 44mm BRiTDOR is available to order now!
“BRiTDOR’s Brilliantly British Manufacturing is what sets it apart from its other solid timber core counterparts. Manufactured in our new Doncaster facility, BRiTDOR’s construction is a timber core that delivers superior strength, security and durability. The core is then finished in Thermoplastic CoolSkin outer layer with heat reflective properties, scratch resistance and a beautifully defined woodgrain finish, that’s been designed to complement the existing DoorCo collection.
“BRiTDOR is available in the widest range solid timber core door options, which includes the prevalent designs of 6/4 combi, flush and farmhouse, as well as exclusive, new styles: Enzo, Glenman and Eaton. This means you can create Traditional panelled designs with all the DoorCo favourites, like Troon, Carnoustie, Lytham and Farmhouse. Exclusive BRiTDOR designs Eaton, Knightsbridge & Tatton also join the Traditional collection. When it comes to
Contemporary style, the BRiTDOR designs are based on the Flush door and include the popular Augusta, Oakmont and Barcelona designs as well as the new Glenman and St Mark designs. Designer favourite Monza II is joined by the exclusive new Enzo to complete the BRiTDOR offering.
“To further enhance the design capabilities, the sizing of BRiTDOR is totally flexible, too, with both taller and narrower door sizes available.
“When it comes to colour, we’ve simplified the offering to focus on offering a variety of popular shades in the 14 off-the-shelf colours, and 3 first-class wood stains: Golden Oak, Rosewood and Irish Oak.
“Finally, looking at the glazing options of BRiTDOR the collection includes 25 stunning decorative designs which can be encompassed in FLiP, DoorCo’s own revolutionary glazing cassette system that has flexible yet simple corner and connector system which performs exceptionally well when it comes to security and weatherability.
“All of these elements have been put together to make BRiTDOR accessible to the entire market, and to further help customers, it’s supported by a fresh new brand that represents BRiTDOR’s British heritage. The marketing package includes a dedicated brochure encompassing all the options available.
“We’re really pleased to be able to deliver the 44mm option to our customers as it’s the final piece in the Jigsaw of making DoorCo the only manufacturer that can supply all the current types of composite door available in the UK today. BRiTDOR’s solid timber core joins ORiGINAL, the prime foam core edition and GRiPCORE, the superior timber-foam-aluminium hybrid core. Alongside the door types, DoorCo can also supply you with their own revolutionary glazing cassette system and bespoke glass designs, backed up by a comprehensive and flexible prepped door service model.”
