Whitesales used the FIT Show to launch its Em.glaze skyvu lantern.
The new lantern is available on lead times of three to five days for standard sizes and colours and can be fitted in around 40 minutes.
With internal rafters of 38mm and large expanses of self-cleaning glass, the new lantern also comes in both contemporary and traditional styles with multiple pane options in sizes up to 4.5m.
The new em.glaze skyvu complies with the new requirements of Part L, achieving U-Values of 1.3W/m2K thanks to the thermally broken hip beams and incorporates seals to ensure weather performance tested to beyond BS6375.
Fabricators can use Whitesales’ Rufus digital configurator to design and order their lantern online and they can get help and advice on the phone or online from Whitesales’ team.
For installers, the lantern has design features including click fastening of the glazing into the flange on the ring beam, which mean it can typically be fitted by one person in around 40 minutes.

The new Em.glaze skyvu comes in six standard sizes from 1.5m x 1m up to 3m x 2m and these are available from stock in 3-5 days in white, grey or black or in a dual colour grey on white. Other sizes and colours are available to order.
