Machine tool manufacturer Jade Engineering has bought a 30,000sqft industrial property close to its Coventry HQ with a plan to consolidate most of the functions from three separate sites it currently occupies.

The new premises, located on a four-acre site, will also provide room for growth and space for new, complementary enterprises. Sheet metal production will continue in a separate 6,000sqft unit nearby.

The move follows a period of acquisition, including SALtech Machinery and Edgwick Sheet Metal, that bring all complementary operations under the control of owners Sean Mackey and Adam Jones (pictured).

The consolidation is expected to be completed by the autumn.
