Yale has announced that Everest is now fitting the Platinum 3-star cylinder on all its doors as standard.

Everest head of marketing Anthony Threlfall said: “Homeowners are more security conscious than ever before. They expect high security as standard and that’s why we’ve chosen to fit Yale’s TS007 accredited 3-star kitemarked anti-snap cylinder across all of our doors.

“Before deciding on Yale’s Platinum 3-star cylinder we benchmarked the market in an evaluation and independent test program and Yale came out on top.”

Yale MD Paul Atkinson added: “Everest is a long-standing and valued Yale customer. We are thrilled that they’ve chosen to fit the Platinum 3 Star Cylinder as standard, recognising the protection it offers against even the most determined intruders.”

The Yale Platinum 3 Star is available in chrome or brass and dual colour finishes; it has been approved to TS007:2014 and SS312 Diamond Standard and is endorsed by the Police preferred Secured by Design scheme
