Schüco has expanded the options for its AS FD aluminium bi-fold door system to ionclude triple glazing and a wider range of opening configurations.

The system can achieve panel sizes up to 3.5 metres high by 1.5 metres wide, with 90mm sightlines.

The system, first launched earlier this year with a 75mm profile depth, can now be specified as a triple glazed version with a profile depth of 90mm. The AS FD 90.HI also offers increased airtightness and U-values as low as 1.0 W/m²K.

Up to nine panels can be combined without fixed panes, and doors can be folded inwards or outwards, in one direction only or opened to the left and right. A ‘traffic door’ can also be integrated to give quick access to the outside without having to open the entire system.

It includes four threshold height options, including a 4mm and 15mm ramped.

The new bi-fold door is tested to burglar resistance RC2 and is covered by Secured by Design.
