Deceuninck Aluminium has been announced as a finalist in the New Product of the Year category in this year’s G-Awards for its Decalu88 entrance door.

Director Nigel Headford said: “Being a finalist in the New Product of the Year category is the recognition for all our hard work in bringing this best-in-class product to market, which offers significant benefits to both homeowners and installers.

“Feedback from our customers has been excellent because the door provides a high value alternative to standard composite doors, and many homeowners – especially in newbuild properties – are looking for statement pieces. Installers love it because the patented design avoids the need for callbacks due to warping or bowing. The fact that the judges recognise this is the icing on the cake.”

The Decalu88 entrance door’s USP is its use of patented ABS inserts, which adapt to temperature change, allowing the internal and external faces to expand and contract independently of one another, limiting bowing to a maximum of 2.5mm even in extreme heat.
