Ceri Davies has been appointed general manager of PVCR Ltd, the PVC-U recycler in the Rehau Group.
Ceri has a background managing operations within companies including Duracell Group, Procter & Gamble and Widex, the hearing aid solution manufacturer, and most recently providing operations consultancy in various industrial sectors.
Runcorn-based PVCR. processes over 13,200 tonnes a year of postconsumer polymer windows and doors. He also holds a degree in Product Design with Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, and is a Black Belt in DMAIC (6 Sigma) methodology.
Rehau’s efforts in recycling for window production in Europe is among initiatives that have seen the company selected to join the 50 Sustainability & Climate Leaders initiative led by Bloomberg in co-operation with the United Nations.
