The group comprising Window Widgets and the Residence Collection has announced the acquisition of Profoil and the formation of the Q19 Group.

Q19 Group sales and marketing director Sarah Hitchings, pictured with Profoil MD Colin Deans, said : “I and the other directors are pleased to announce the strategic acquisition of Profoil, a key supplier to Window Widgets. We now have an opportunity to continue investing and realising the considerable potential of Profoil within our group.”

A statement continues: “The Q19 Group will implement an investment programme to support further growth across all its businesses, with bold ambitions for the future direction of the group.”

Window Widgets began in 2000. In 2012, it launched Residence 9, which today forms part of The Residence Collection of PVCu window and door systems. Kettering-based Profoil has been a specialist of foil lamination for over 25 years.

The deal was put together by the Q19 director team with advice from Cattaneo Corporate Finance and Legal Clarity, with financial support from Shawbrook Bank. The management of Profoil Limited were advised by Kingswood Business Sales, a division of Richmond Capital Partners.
