Kömmerling owner Profine Group is calling on the industry to join it in supporting the victims of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine by contributing to the #FenestrationForUkraine campaign it has launched as a platform for donations.

The group has opened a JustGiving page and pledged €150,000 of its own via its Kömmerling Better World Stiftung charity to kickstart the appeal

Group owner and CEO Dr Peter Mrosik, launching the appeal, said: “Two years ago, the foundation was set up to support community campaigns and charitable causes across the world by helping to make a difference together. But this donation is one in which to support a desperate humanitarian crisis, that’s currently getting worse by the day.

“Not only are we encouraging our group subsidiaries, employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders to support this cause, but are looking to encourage the respective industries that we work in to support Ukraine with local fundraising on a wider scale.

“This is a devastating scenario in which lives are being lost and families fragmenting as they seek to leave their homeland in the millions, so I encourage you to help in any way possible through direct donations to the foundation or via the JustGiving page, after all the people of Ukraine need goods, provisions, equipment and above all hope.”
