Timber window and door manufacturer Gowercroft Joinery has unveiled plans to develop a network of regional dealerships with the appointment of Peter Buckley as Partnerships Manager.

The manufacturer has already signed up four dealers with a number of others from across the UK about to come on board, according to managing director Andrew Madge.

“This is an exciting initiative, which will further establish Gowercroft as a strong national player with a more localised presence and support for our customers,” he said.

“We select our partners very carefully based on service levels and a real understanding of the products, so that they offer an exceptional service across the country on our behalf”

Formerly specification sales manager at a leading tile distributor, Peter has worked with over 4,000 independent SME’s and Global brands across the UK and Europe.

“I am really thrilled to be joining Gowercroft to spearhead this exciting business opportunity,” he said,  “In a market that is predominantly cost driven, Gowercroft stands out in offering high value and clear differentiation from local competitors, through genuinely innovative and cutting-edge timber products, which will add significant value to any partnering businesses.”

With 23 years of uninterrupted trading, Gowercroft has won industry acclaim for its products and services including the ‘Best Windows’ category of the 2017 Build It Awards, the 2019 British Woodworking Federation’s (BWF) ‘Woodworking Project of the Year’ award, and most recently the ‘Family Business of the Year’ category of the 2021 Midlands Business Awards.
