It’s seemed a very long time since we all applauded the industry’s brightest and best at the last G-Awards but now the wait is over as entries are open for G21 with early signs that the unpredicted pause has made everyone keener than ever to get back on the trophy trail.

“There’s been so much going on in the industry despite all the lockdowns and restrictions,” said organiser Tony Higgin, “and now everyone can’t wait to put those achievements into the spotlight and show the world what they have done.

“It may have been a longer wait than expected but it hasn’t dampened anyone’s enthusiasm, whether they are out to take home a trophy or simply be there with the rest of the industry and applaud the winners.”

The pandemic may have thrown the world into turmoil but it has also created a whole new class of heroes and they are to be celebrated at this year’s event with a new Covid-91 Business Hero Award, alongside all the regular categories that have created so many winners in past year.

There is no charge to enter the G21 Awards, which are as always independently judged by a panel of experts. Finalists will be announced in September and winners will be announced at the G21 Awards Presentation & Gala Dinner on Friday 26 November at the prestigious London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel.
