The Window Company (Contracts) has gained a third LHC Framework Agreements, for the supply and installation of aluminium windows and doors, in addition to the PVC-U and timber window and door frameworks it is already on.

The commercial installer, based in Chelmsford, is on the Home Counties, London and East Anglia framework for PVC-U and on the South East England frameworks for timber and now aluminium.

As with its previous LHC tenders, the company has been included on the aluminium framework at the first attempt, having demonstrated its ability to provide a service focused around both quality and value.

Chairman David Thornton said: “Over the past few years, we have vastly expanded our expertise in fitting aluminium windows and doors, in line with growing market demand. During that time, we’ve established a network of supply partners, who we know we can rely on for quality products and service and invested in highly skilled staff and extensive training.

“Joining the aluminium LHC Framework alongside PVC-U and timber obviously gives us access to key public sector clients specifying in all three materials to provide them with fast-track procurement and transparent rates.

“More than that though, it gives a clear signal to other specifiers in both the public and private sectors that we can guarantee the same standards across aluminium, PVC-U and timber – backed up by a BSI Kitemark for installation and both a Gold award in the GGF Glass Charter merit scheme and a Silver RoSPA Award for health and safety.”
