The Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) is delighted to announce its return to two key events in April 2025: The Security Event and The FIT Show, both held at the NEC Birmingham.
DHF is proud to be an event partner at The Security Event (8th–10th April) and an event supporter at this year’s FIT Show (29th April–1st May). Both exhibitions provide DHF with a valuable opportunity to meet and support existing members and engage with potential new members, while showcasing best practice, industry-leading training, and the latest legislation and standards that surround security and safety.
“The Security Event is perfect for those who install or supply security products,” says DHF Commercial Director Patricia Sowsbery-Stevens. “It’s particularly relevant for our component supplier members and hardware manufacturers, who are integral to ensuring product compliance and safety across the industry.”
At The FIT Show, DHF will also have a presence, supporting members, showcasing innovations, and promoting industry standards. While the show has a strong focus on the door sector, it will also be of great interest to hardware suppliers looking to connect with fabricators, specifiers, and installers.
Visitors to either show will find DHF representatives on hand to offer expert advice, technical support, and copies of the new 2025–2026 training brochure, which includes:
• The brand new Level 3 Award in Compliance & Safety of Fire Resisting Roller Shutter Doors (launching April 2025)
• The upcoming Building Hardware Training Programme
• Details on free technical webinars
• Exclusive membership offers
“We’re looking forward to supporting a record number of DHF members at both events,” adds Patricia. “Whichever show you choose to visit—and we hope it’s both—you will find DHF members ready to help with all your queries.”
