Darren Gait, Scottish Depot Manager at Carl F Groupco has received a 40-year long service award.
CEO Owen Coop said: “Darren’s 40th anniversary is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the business, an example of commitment and excellence.”
Darren’s career started in the warehouse with Group Sales, and in 2002, he moved to Cumbernauld being appointed the Scottish Depot Manager. Today, he works alongside Pamela Wilson, regional sales manager, to deliver excellent customer service to Carl F Groupco’s growing customer base.
Darren, who joined the business in 1984, said: “I started with the company when I was 17 years old. The knowledge and experience I have gained over the 40 years has been invaluable to all our customers. Here’s to the next 40!”
More than 20 of the company’s 36 employees have been with the company for over 10 years. Owen added: “Our impressive staff retention rate is a testament to the supportive working environment and the opportunities for professional growth and development that Carl F Groupco provides.
“By investing in our employees, we ensure that our team remains motivated, knowledgeable and dedicated to delivering the highest standards of service to customers.”
