Apeer and Silka owner New World Developments has announced the appointment of 33 new members of staff – amounting to an increase of around 20% across its workforce.
Most of the appointments are to create a night shift to increase production for its composite doors and aluminium windows as well as cutting lead times.
A notable appointment is that of industry veteran Roland Sarin as regional sales manager for South West England and South Wales.
Roland had worked previously with New World’s England & Wales sales & marketing director Andy Jones, who said of him: “He is one of the most experienced field operators in the industry and he joins us at a most important time, especially for our customers, most of whom will already know him.”
