David Salisbury is looking to expand its workforce following what it says is the most successful period for new orders in the company’s history, and is looking to hire for positions across the residential and commercial sides of its business.

The hardwood conservatories, garden rooms and orangeries manufacturer has recently welcomed a new customer account manager, with immediate plans to hire a second to join its customer service team.

It is also looking for a 3D CAD technician to join the team, using graphic editing software to produce sales concept presentations for customers as well as technical drawings for production.

Other roles advertised include a Class 2 Driver, a service technician, and a bench joiner, as well as additional sales and design consultants.

The recruitment drive follows a 115% year-on-year growth in sales over the past six months as well as a record order book. Alongside receiving its largest ever individual order this year, David Salisbury also recently completed its biggest commercial project to date, the manufacture and installation of a new orangery for G7 Summit venue, Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate.

Creative Director Karen Bell said: “We’re thrilled to be in a position to expand our team. It’s been an extremely busy year for the company and we’re keen to build on this growth with new talent across a range of areas and experience levels.

“It’s an exciting time to join the business, at the busiest period in our 30-year history, and one with significant investment being made in machinery and equipment. We’re proud to have the most technically advanced joinery workshop in the UK, and coupled with our craft roots, this gives us a perfect blend of high-tech control with bespoke flexibility.”A full list of vacancies can be found on the website
