Pyroguard has released its new Smokeguard brochure with updated information on its toughened glass smoke control system.

The new brochure is designed to be a resource for architects and specifiers and is available to download from Pyroguard’s website. Containing product information, technical drawings and details on fixings, the brochure also features recent project case studies from around the world.

UK & Ireland Sales Director Andy Lake said: “While the conversation around passive fire protection often focuses on fire safety glass, smoke control is just as important, having a real impact on the ability of occupants to safely evacuate a building. With this in mind, Smokeguard is the ideal solution, helping architects to meet the required safety regulations without compromising on design.”

Smokeguard is available as a complete system, supplied with the glass, slimline steel brackets and fixings. Once installed it can form a channel that stretches the length of a corridor or building. The glass comes in 8mm thickness and with glass pane sizes up to 2500 x 1200 mm.
