Alucraft Systems, the £18.6milion sales architectural glazing fabricator and installer, has been placed into administration.

Documents relating to the company say it: “had been unable to trade profitably for several years, in spite of “considerable investment” and despite securing a big job recently.” 

It is now up for sale by administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The company, launched in 1975 was headquartered in Tamworth, acquiring a second unit in Rotherham from the collapse of Façade and Glazing Solutions in 2020.

Joint administrators are Helen Wheeler-Jones and Edward Williams of PricewaterhouseCoopers
