Somerset-based P&P Trade Windows has expanded its fabrication capabilities with three more machines from Haffner.

Among them was the SBA-2 Machining Centre. Director Paul French said: “Given our positive experience with Haffner’s machines in the past and considering the inefficiency of our previous machining centre, we turned to them for our latest investment. The SBA-2 Machining Centre has significantly increased the quality and speed of our output.”

Also the fabricator bought a second SMR-5 welder and a single head welder, said to be capable of welding one complete window every four minutes. Paul said: “Having experienced the exceptional quality, scalability and efficiency of our initial SMR-5 welder, we had no hesitation in returning to Haffner for our second purchase. Its ease of operation and unparalleled quality speak for themselves.”

The SMR-5 incorporates features including factory-set parameters and automatic alignment mechanisms for transom fences.
