Lincolnshire fabricator Tradeglaze, has taken delivery of a new Emmegi Precision TS2 double mitre saw for its aluminium factory.

Group MD Jeremy Wetherall said: “The new Emmegi machine offers several key benefits, including remote and computer optimised operation, which will help reduce error and waste as well as providing additional safety measures.”

Aluminium manager Daniel Dickson added: “The Emmegi is a game-changer for our aluminium production process. It delivers increased accuracy, reducing scrap and cycle times, while its machining cycle is optimised for maximum efficiency. This translates to faster turnaround times and ultimately better service for our customers.”

The Emmegi Precision TS2 allows for various cutting options, including over-length, short-cut, bevel, and even transform arrowhead cuts. The accuracy of angles is electronically programmable. Additionally, it manages all angles from 45° internal to 15° external, with hydro-pneumatic cylinder-driven blade feeds.

Jeremy Wetherall concluded: “We understand the importance of planning for the long term and developing in all areas of the business. Ultimately, this allows us to continue to provide our trade, commercial and domestic customers with exceptional quality double glazing and a five-star service our group of companies are well known and recommended for.”
