Sales leads for single composite doors increased by 38% year-on-year at the beginning of 2024, according to Leads 2 Trade.

Co-founder and director Andy Royle attributed the rise the rise to more homeowners wanting to increase the energy efficiency of their home as well as the company strengthening its digital marketing team.

“Alongside windows, front and back doors are the biggest source of heat loss in a home,” he said, “and homeowners are looking at replacing their old and worn external doors with high performance thermally efficient doors to reduce draughts, keep their home warmer and cut heating bills.

“Many of our installer members want big ticket items or multiple window or door leads, but we are getting a huge number of enquiries for single front/back composite doors and consumers looking for specific door companies. And, of course, the chance is also there for installers to potentially upsell.”

“The strengthening of our digital marketing team has also played a significant part in this increase, and we are looking forward to increasing our single composite door lead volumes, matching homeowners with the right installers from our member network and providing our customers with the leads they want.”
