Epwin Window Systems has confirmed that all its PVC-U window and door systems have now achieved PAS24 2022.
Product accreditations manager Adrian Crutchley said: “This achievement further demonstrates our commitment to adopting and meeting the latest industry standards to deliver secure and reliable solutions for our customers.”
The PAS 24:2022 accreditation now covers the company’s entire PVC-U system range of Spectus Elite, Optima, Flush Tilt & Turn, Fully Reversible, Flush Casement, Vertical Sliding Sash and the PatioMaster Inline Sliding Door.
PAS 24:2022 sets out enhanced security standards for doorsets and windows, indicating the certified products have undergone testing and meet specific criteria for resisting physical attack. The new accreditation, which officially came into effect in September 2022, phasing out the earlier PAS 24:2016 standard, helps specifiers meet Building Regulations and the requirements of the police’s Secured by Design scheme.
