Trade fabricator Warwick North West has been awarded the ‘Employer of the Year’ accolade at this year’s Merseyside Independent Business Awards.

Director Greg Johnson said: “We are thrilled to be recognised as ‘Employer of the Year’ by the Merseyside Independent Business Awards, an achievement that is a testament to our commitment to tackling the industry’s skills shortage and creating job opportunities within our local community.”

As a strategic partner of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, the company supports job creation initiatives in its local area, and has partnered with Nobody Left Behind, an organisation that provides industry-specific training to young people, and Inside Connections, a community interest company committed to supporting prison leavers and young people at risk of offending.

It has also collaborated with children’s charity Ykids and Alder Hey Children’s Charity in an effort to improve the lives of vulnerable children and contribute to their mental health wellbeing.

Greg concluded: “Winning a prestigious Merseyside Independent Business Award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We are proud to be recognised as an employer that values its employees and contributes positively to the local community, and we will continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our business, remaining committed to creating job opportunities and making a difference across Merseyside.”
