The hup! lightweight building system from Ultraframe has been shortlisted for New Product of the Year and Customer Care Initiative of the Year in the G Awards.

Marketing director Alex Hewitt said: “It is great news that hup! has been shortlisted for both New Product of the Year and Customer Care Initiative of the Year in recognition of both the product and the service package that underpins it.

“The system really is revolutionising the way that people extend their homes and transform old conservatories and to be given a chance to highlight this at such a prestigious industry event is a great honour.”

hup! is said to be 5X faster to build than bricks and mortar while offering 5X the energy efficiency of the average UK home.

The nature of hup! walls means that full builds can take place on existing conservatory bases, with a typical increase in floor space of 10-15% vs. a traditional build, the company adds.
