The anticipation starts today as G-Awards organisers reveal the companies, people and initiatives that have made the shortlist to go forward to the G23 Awards.

Competition was fiercer than ever with nominations up 70% this year and a record 14 categories but preliminary judging has highlighted no fewer than 84 candidates to enter the final stages before the Gala Dinner and Awards evening in November.

The event, now in its 19th year, also returns to the London Hilton on Park Lane after extensive refurbishment of the iconic venue.

“We really are looking forward to a spectacular event this year,” said organiser Tony Higgin, “The response from the industry has been overwhelming both in the number of entries and the quality of the submissions, and the return to the Hilton on Park Lane will make it all the more special.

All 84 will now face the scrutiny of the G-Awards panel of expert judges before the Gala Dinner and Awards event at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday, November 24.
