Shelforce is hoping to follow last year’s win in the annual Scale Up Awards with a nomination for the Manufacturing Excellence category this year’s awards.
The company, which was named as Diversity Champion in ’22, also received The Kings Award for Enterprise in Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility) in April for its inclusive approach to training and employment, with 75% of its workforce having a disability.
The Scale-Up Awards, organised by Business Leader, recognises the best of UK business. An independent panel of judges, which includes Dragons’ Den investor Touker Suleyman, assessed hundreds of entries to get to the final shortlist.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and gala evening on November 16.
