Four Siegenia UK staff members joined over 150 colleagues worldwide in a 5.5kilometre run as part of the group’s Sport Challenge aimed at encouraging staff worldwide to ‘get active’.

The four, who did their run in Coventry’s War Memorial Park, were among 60 who ran ‘virtually’ at various locations as well as those who took part at the company’s Siegen home.

Each year, Siegenia Group uses its Sport Challenge to encourage its staff worldwide to get active with the company run as well as a bike challenge to record as many cycling kilometres as possible over a 14-day period. This is in addition to health and fitness initiatives which the group runs throughout the year, including holding in-person and online yoga and stretching classes, running a bicycle leasing scheme and holding annual “health weeks”. Participation has grown year-on-year, as has the number of initiatives on offer. The staff are already looking forward to next year’s run and are hoping to encourage even more colleagues to join them!
