Ultraframe was called on to create eight glass roofs for a new 315sqm wedding venue at the Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club in New Jersey, USA.

The venue tasked local company NJ Sunroom Additions (NJSA), whose proprietor Peter Burley worked alongside Project Manager Andy Bucko and Chief Designer Brian Adams – both former Anglian employees in the UK – in collaboration with their supplier LivingSpace Sunrooms.

Ultraframe export manager Darryl Houghton Smith said: “This was a hugely complex project, which really demonstrates the flexibility and strength of our Glass Roof system and I was thrilled to say ‘I do’ when asked to assist LivingSpace with this remarkable conservatory wedding venue.

“The roofs we supplied helped to form a walkway from the existing clubhouse into a very large 21m x 15m lantern conservatory. Due to the complexity of the main lantern and the entrance gazebo, we pre-built five of the roofs in our factory here in Clitheroe to ensure that the installation would go without a hitch. It’s incredible to think that those same roofs are now installed in such a prestigious complex so far away in the USA.”

LivingSpace Sunrooms sales director Mike Francis added: “Having worked at Ultraframe many years ago, I knew that they would be the perfect partner on such a mammoth project. NJSA has been our Dealer of the Year for the past eight years and has thousands of satisfied customers.

“The precision and strength of the Ultraframe system were perfectly demonstrated when all eight roofs came together with our portal frame system without any issues.”
