Gerda residential front doors will be returning to The FIT Show this year, at stand P31, following the company’s UK launch last year.

Gerda, distributed exclusively in the UK by Pioneer Trading, will be showing its range of contemporary steel- and aluminium-faced that have been selected to appeal to UK homeowners.

Also on show will be a new fire door as well as a new door configurator that will allow homeowners to design their own door.

Gerda doors offer a security spec which includes multi-point locks, three bolt main locks, anti-burglary vertical bolts, anti-theft pins and optional auxiliary locks for added security. New Fuhr hardware will also be available on some models for 2023.

Partnering with Pioneer Trading has allowed the Polish brand to tailor its residential door range exclusively to suit British tastes in colours and designs as well as meeting demanding new standards in anticipation of the tougher performance levels expected with the introduction of the Future Homes Standard. Since its UK launch last year, Gerda has developed the Hawkstone classic four panel, glazed and unglazed door styles for the UK market, in addition to the contemporary designs.

The Gerda Tedee smart lock, said to be the world’s smallest smartphone controlled door lock, will also be shown at FIT. Gerda doors can be equipped to allow the smartlock to automatically unlock and open the entrance door as the user approaches, with the door closing behind and re-locking itself once they have entered.
