Era has launched a new range of 19th century ironmongery-inspired teardrop and monkey tail key locking handles window handles as part of its Fab&Fix Heritage range.

The handles, which are suitable for timber and PVCu casement windows with an espagnolette lock, are manufactured from die-cast zinc and are available in five patented Hardex finishes, including Antique Black and Hardex Pewter.

Supplied in 30mm, 40mm, 45mm and 55m spindle variations to suit a variety of profile systems, complementary dummy and operating stays are also available. The addition of a positive stop also ensures the handle automatically locks on closing and prevents the gearbox from jamming or being forced.

Suitable for use with a full PAS 24 test and strength tested to the equivalent of a modern espagnolette window handle, the two designs are supplied with a ten year mechanical guarantee and have been tested to 25,000 cycles and NSST Grade 5 (480 hours).
