Direct Trade Windows has added vertical sliding sash windows to its product offering in response to increased demand from customers.
The Slough-based manufacturer is offering the VS600 vertical sliding sash window from Smart Systems.
Director AJ Hassanali comments: “Our customers have been asking for vertical sliding sash windows, and having worked with Smart for many years, we knew their offering would be the best on the market.”
the VS600 offers a flush opening with no projection into or out of a property and is often used in schools and hospitals. The system features low line glazing gaskets that will accept 28mm sealed units, achieves a U-value of 1.6, and also features a concealed drainage and concealed coupling option.
It also features a ‘tilt in’ operation that facilitates the cleaning of the external glass.
