Smart Architectural Aluminium has cut the lead times of its three most popular colour ranges from ten days to five.
The supplier says investment in new plant and equipment means it can introduce the shorter turnaround on its Smart Naturals, Sensations and Cotswold ranges covering more than fifty of the its most requested paint finishes with immediate effect.
The shorter lead times apply to all orders for single colour finishes across the three colour ranges and includes both profiles and painted accessories, which can be ordered either to match the profiles or in a different colour to provide a contrast.
Managing director Eddie Robinson said: “We are constantly looking for new ways to enhance our service levels and halving our lead times should provide a real benefit for our customers, enabling them to be even more responsive to the needs of their customers in a very competitive market.
“Our continued investment in new plant and equipment has given us capacity to paint over 800 metres of material every hour, which has enabled us to introduce these much shorter lead times on a wide range of our most popular colours. We now have three state-of-the-art paint lines which combine to deliver a lustrous and durable finish across our entire product portfolio, a finish which is capable of withstanding even the harshest of environments.”
