Industry verteran Andy Jones, who has held top jobs with some of the industry’s best-known names, has been revealed as the new head of sales and marketing for England and Wales at New World Developments Ltd, the company behind the Apeer, Lumi and Silka brands.
Andy joins from Teesside-based fasbricator Made for Trade, where he was commercial director, and has previously held senior roles at companies including Victorian Sliders, Synseal and Aperture Group.
New World managing director Asa McGillian said: “We need to know that our retail installer network is supported sufficiently for them to drive sales to achieve their true potential, as well as ensuring that that network is sufficiently comprehensive, high performing and motivated to provide the best returns for our substantial investment in product.
“We have known and worked with Andy for nearly two decades and his experience is just what we need for this task.”
Andy said of his new role: “The products produced under these brands are some of the best available in the market and there is a huge opportunity for driving sales beyond their current levels, especially with the level of marketing support the company provides for its retailers.
