A property in Cheshire’s Alderley Edge has been transformed and modernised by new windows and doors in The Residence Collection’s R7 system and fabricated and installed by Alexander Windows.
The flush windows were made with a clotted cream exterior and flat white interior.
One cottage door, one flint door and one Painswick door were also installed.
The R7 windows boast an energy rating of A++, with u-values as low as 0.84 W/m2K with triple glazing and 1.2 W/m2K as standard with double glazing.
The homeowner said: “We chose The Residence Collection due to the flush fitting primarily, but then the extensive choice of colours meant that we could modernise our home but still keep its character.
“Our windows have totally changed the look and feel of our home. We’ve had lots of comments from friends and family about our new windows. Mainly people have been surprised with the flush fitting and were unaware what could be done with UPVC. We’ve even had comments from colleagues on Teams/Zoom calls!”
