Gloucester-based aluminium fabricator CDW Systems has added two new ranges from Smart Systems to its offering – Designer Doors and the Aliver flat rooflight.

Designer Doors are tested to PAS 24:2016 Enhanced Security Performance, with their 10-point locking mechanism and three adjustable hinges that can withstand 80kg of pressure.

Available with fixed-side or head-light glazing combinations, the range offers U Values as low as 0.9 due to new thermal break technology, a fully insulated door panel and triple glazed and laminated glass units.

Design options include four ranges: Traditional, with Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian entrance doors; Vintage, reflecting the 1920s and 1930s Art Deco doors; Modern, developed to suit new homes, and Cottage.

The Aliver rooflight system has been designed to accept both double and triple glazed units. It has also been designed so that the glazing unit may be taken out and replaced, without the frame itself having to be removed.

Jeremy Phillips chairman of the East Manor Group of which CDW is a part, said: “Our customers have been asking for roof lights so being able to offer the Aliver Rooflight system fills a gap in our portfolio. We were buying in an alternative fabricated system but we’re now fabricating Smart Aliver ourselves.

The ranges add to CDW’s existing Smart offering, which already includes the VS600 vertical sliding window system and the Slide 2000 horizontal sliding window and patio door.
