AGC has introduced Stopray Vision‑70 and toughenable Vision‑70T solar control glass.
Colour neutral at Ra,D = 97 with a transmission of TL = 70% and solar factor of 35%, the product is said to reduce the air conditioning requirements of buildings with all-glass facades.
They deliver 15% internal light reflection, 14% external light reflection and a Ug value of 1.0 W (m2K). These values are for double glazing, but the products are also available in triple glazed insulating glass units. All standard glass products in the ipasol and Stopray family are Cradle to Cradle Certified Silver.
The Cradle to Cradle certification system evaluates a products sustainability across its entire life cycle based on standards in Material Health, Material Reutilisation, Renewable Energy, Water Stewardship and Social Fairness.
The overall score for Stopray, ipasol and iplus standard glass products is Silver. The products were rated Silver in the Renewable Energy and Water Stewardship categories, and Gold for Material Health, Material Reutilisation and Social Fairness.
