ERA has launched theNu Mail Shield independently certified TS 008 Letterplate.
Designed to prevent access via fishing or reaching, the letterplate has a restricted flap to protect the property within, automatically closing when not in use whilst simultaneously ensuring clear access for postal items.
Available in eight finishes, the letterplate is supplied in separate internal and external sections to allow customers to choose finishes that compliment both the interior and exterior door colours.”
The letterplate can be installed in door thicknesses from 44mm to 70mm, and is supplied with all fixings.
The complete letterplate has undergone independent testing to conform to the
TS 008:2015 security standard, while also meeting the requirements of PAS 24 and Secured by Design.
Tested to 20,000 cycles at ERA’s test house, the metal frame and flap also meet the requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5, providing enhanced weather performance.
