Sales of the Ultraframe Livinroof hybrid solid/glass roof system are showing over 40% year-on-year growth.

Current sales are up 48% on this period last year – and 42% against pre-pandemic 2019. Marketing director Alex Hewitt, explained: “Much of the attention around solid roofs in recent years has been around tiled roofs, such as our Ultraroof system. They are extremely popular as they are the closest alternative, visually, to a traditionally built slate and timber roof. However, while tiled roofs have taken much of the ‘limelight’, our other solid roof system – Livinroof – has been quietly increasing in popularity.”

She went on to explain how the various lockdowns have made homeowners more aware of their need for extra space, making Livinroof an easy choice for installers and builders wanting to take advantage of the boom in home improvements.

To support the growth of the system during the pandemic, Ultraframe ran a series of live webinars and training events to help Livinroof users understand more about the system and the support available, all of which are available to watch on the company’s YouTube channel. One of Ultraframe’s new ‘explainer’ videos is also available to support new or prospective Livinroof users, with all the features and benefits of the roof clearly demonstrated.
