Carl F Groupco has expanded its team of Regional Sales Managers with the appointment of Matt Smith to serve the company’s North West region of fabricator partners.

Having sourced hardware for a large fabricator in his previous role and undertaking a QCF Level 3 in Supply Chain Operations, the company says Matt understands the challenges faced by customers and what drives them in their purchasing decisions.

Matt said of his new role:  “I’ve been a customer of Carl F Groupco for many years, so I knew I was moving to a company that prioritised product quality and leading brands but most of all outstanding customer service and technical support. Having worked in fabrication, I understand the challenges our customers face and what they need… ease of fabrication and installation, price, product quality and the support required when it’s time to make a change.

Sales Director John King replied: “Matt was the ideal candidate for this role. His industry experience allows him to expertly advise our customers whether it be with new product requirements, technical issues or supply enquiries. I look forward to helping Matt support our customers and grow the region.”

Matt joins a team of five Regional Sales Managers who serve the UK and Ireland, headed by sales director John King. The external team work alongside internal sales and customer service counterparts to guarantee smooth account management and hardware supply.
