Attention to detail was the watchword when Anthony and Julia Hayes of family-run Frithsden Construction designed and built this Georgian-style five-bedroom new build in Little Gaddenden, Herts.
Among the details and finishing touches such as Flemish handmade bricks, the husband and wife team chose Heritage woodgrain effect vertical sliders from Quickslide.
They originally wanted timber windows, before discovering the energy efficient, secure and low maintenance modern alternative in PVC-U. In particular, they were pleased with the authentic look of the wood grain effect and run-through horn details.
The also praised the fabricator’s sales manager, Jess, for being ‘very helpful and always available for any queries or advice’.
“Our customer service is as important to us as our products,” said Quickslide Chairman Adrian Barraclough. “Since we established and popularised the PVCu vertical slider as a real alternative to traditional timer sash windows, more and more customers are discovering our heritage windows give them exactly what they need – authentic, traditional looks coupled with low maintenance, comfortable modern living.”
