Kenrick has appointed Daran Woodcock as technical support manager.

Daran joins the hardware supplier from The Residence Collection where he was technical support engineer, and has also worked in engineering and technical roles for industry names including Epwin, Wintech and Emplas.

Based at Kenrick’s headquarters in West Bromwich, Daran will provide technical support to Kenrick’s nationwide customer base. He will help customers with any technical queries or testing requirements and provide training on any new products. He will also be involved in new product development and will take responsibility for all BSI and PAS 24 testing.

He said of his appointment: “I have known Kenrick for many years and have used their window and door locks, so I know that the quality of their products is second to none. When the opportunity came up to join the business I jumped at the chance.”

Sales and marketing director Steve Williams added: “He is highly experienced in the industry and the wealth of technical knowledge he brings will really help us to bolster the service we provide to customers. Daran will play a pivotal role in new product development too and we have many exciting new developments in the pipeline that he will be involved in.”
