Senior Architectural Systems with fabricator/installer Duplus Architectural Systems provided a fenestration package for The Waterside Apartments scheme, a new residential development in Nottingham.
The scheme, on the banks of the River Trent, comprises 121 individual apartments and duplex penthouse developed over 11 storeys, with office and leisure facilities to the ground floor. The project is a key part of the wider regeneration of the area and is located on the site of the former Rushcliffe Borough Council Civic Centre.
The development makes use of floor to ceiling glazing, with Senior’s SPW600 aluminium windows used throughout alongside its SF52 aluminium curtain wall system. To provide natural ventilation and access to Juliet balconies, the patented low U-value PURe Slide aluminium doors have also been installed.
The PURe Slide range includes an inline sliding door and a lift and slide door, now in a choice of single, double and triple track configurations.
