Adding to its colour leading offer, Deceuninck has launched a new range of tartan finishes for the Scottish window and door market.
Part of its campaign to deliver more choice to homeowners north of the border, Deceuninck is giving a unique new twist to its colour and finish range.
Research commissioned by Deceuninck has shown that colour choice is a key driver of the second time window and door replacement market.
Iconic and synonymous with the romance of the Highlands, tartan is traditionally made from a combination of different colours in horizontal and vertical bands.
Layers of multi-coloured woven wool forming the basis for Scottish national dress including the kilt.
Findings from Deceuninckβs consumer research suggest significant untapped demand from the Scottish homeowners for tartan finishes.
Opportunities for retailers according to Chris Jones, Sales Director Deceuninck, were coming thick and fast, as Scots tapped into their heritage and traditional Clan tartans.
βOur colour offer is continuously evolving. Weβve seen a growing number of requests from Scottish fabricators and installers to expand our foil colour offer to include tartansβ, he said.
βLike always, weβve listened and have worked with them to develop a new Highland Heritage Range which features Scotlandβs leading tartans.
βScottish Deceuninck installers are in an absolutely unique position in the market.β
Deceuninck already offers more than 30 different colourways ex-stock, with a further 20 available in only a few days.
Its new Highland Heritage Range is added to more than 200 plus special foils and the 350 different colourways.
Chris added: βWe arenβt stopping there. We intend to launch a new range of foils inspired by the earthy natural hues of Harris Tweed next year.
βItβs still in the developmental stage but as long as the Highland Heritage Range is a success, the βSkyeβ is literally the limit. Until then, weβd like to wish everyone a very happy April Foolsβ Day.β
