Bohle has launched the Aqua Drill Pro AS for wet drilling and screw fixing, saving time and increasing flexibility for installers on site.
With features such as optimum cooling and low contact pressure, the Aqua Drill Pro AS provides all the prerequisites to achieve ideal wet drilling results, with enhanced safety, multi-purpose application and increased efficiency offering additional benefits.
“Experienced installers will know how frustrating it can be if something goes wrong while drilling tiles or granite plates. It can be a real set-back in terms of time, as well as the additional costs incurred,” said Paul Miller, National Sales Manager at Bohle.
“The Aqua Drill Pro AS helps you avoid these common problems and achieve optimum results in three significant ways; with temperature regulation, low contact pressure, and a choice of drilling aid templates all creating a recipe for success.”
A continuous water supply and drainage keep temperatures low for optimum drilling results, while special diamond hollow drill bits enable maximum abrasion to reduce contact pressure. In addition, the choice of three different drilling aid templates ensures full control and reduces movement when drilling.
With safety a key consideration, a sturdy support base and ergonomic handle reduce the risk of dropping the tool, while kickback monitoring stops the machine when necessary. Restart protection, electronic overload protection and a brake add further protection for the user, while visibility is maximised via the intuitive control panel with a dimmable LED to perfectly illuminate the work area.
Suitable for four-speed wet drilling as well as screw fixing, reducing the number of tools required on site, this increased flexibility is complemented by a brushless FEIN PowerDrive motor, offering 30% higher efficiency and a long service life, reaching torques of up to 130 Nm and a speed of 4000 rpm. The Aqua Drill Pro AS is also compatible with Bosch Professional 18 V batteries and AMPShare batteries.
“The Aqua Drill Pro AS is safe, flexible and intuitive, achieving great results and making it a welcome addition to any installer’s arsenal,” added Paul.
